How to Have A Great Day Every Day

  • by

What would your life look like if you happened to have a great day every day? It would look – and feel – pretty phenomenal, right? Well, here’s a secret. You don’t have to wait around hoping you’ll happen upon a great day every once in a while. You can take action to actually create one every single day. Here come a handful of my favorite tips for creating a smooth, sensational day.

5 Tips for Having a Great Day

Relax into your morning. Don’t scramble out of bed and go bounding into your day like a headless chicken. Just don’t.

Keep your phone OUT OF SIGHT. Don’t tap into the chaos that awaits on your smartphone the moment you get out of bed. Wait until you’re ready for it. That could be in 10 minutes or an hour (or two). It’ll still be there when you’re ready.

Mind your vibes. Your emotions are what place you in a high vibe or low vibe zone, and you want to start your day with the most joyful emotions and highest vibes possible. In a low-vibe “meh” zone? Do something to raise it, pronto.

Determine priorities. We all have to-do lists that are longer than our arm. But we don’t have to do it all TODAY. Focus on the top one to three things that MUST get done.

Go to bed grateful. If you go to bed cranky, you frequently wake up cranky. In other words, low-vibe emotions don’t always disappear just because you went to bed. Make a point of going to bed grateful.

Other ways to ensure a Great Day

One more tip that especially applies to Lavaggio Prima is to watch what you put in, on and around your body. Positive thinking, mapping out your day’s tasks and meditation can help take care of your mental and spiritual balance. But you also want to make sure you’re taking care of the physical.

Eat healthy: You know the drill. Lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats. Snack on hummus and broccoli instead of chips and dip. Start your morning with a kale smoothie instead of a greasy plate of bacon and eggs.

Exercise: You’ll be amazed at how much better you’ll feel if you make at least 20 minutes of exercise part of your morning routine.

Get enough sleep: You may need the recommended eight hours of sleep per night, or you may not. You’re on the right track if you wake up rested and ready for action. Hint: Two hours per night is not enough. Neither is five hours. Dang.

Use healthy products: This tip covers everything from cleaning products to skincare and personal products. We’re bombarded at all angles from chemicals, chemicals and more chemicals. Make conscious choices to avoid them, opting for natural cleaning products, plant-based skincare products and, of course, natural herbal shampoo and conditioners.

Starting Each Day Right

Facing the day doesn’t have to be an annoying prospect. In fact, if you fine-tune your attitude right from the start, it never has to be bothersome again. Take it from Henry Ward Beecher:

The first hour of the morning is the rudder of the day.

And adjusting that rudder to propel you into a delightful mood is the key to having a delightful day. Keep it up day after day and, before your know it, the concept translates to a delightful life. And living a delightful life in total freedom and joy is what it’s all about.
